The Central Board of Secondary Education has launched two new courses for classes 6th to 12th for the academic session 2021-2022. Accordingly, data science and coding courses have been introduced in these classes. Under this, coding will be taught to classes from 6th to 8th, while data science will be taught to students from 8th to 12th. These courses will be started in collaboration with Microsoft. At the same time, the Education Minister has made a tweet in this regard. He said, we had promised to launch coding and data science in schools under the New Education Policy 2021. Today I am very happy that CBSE has fulfilled its promise in association with Microsoft.

At the same time, in a media report in this regard, CBSE Chairman Manoj Ahuja said that, we have developed a new curriculum curriculum on Coding and Data Science in partnership with Microsoft. He said that, we are moving towards a world which will be more dependent on technology.
